Ever since I can remember, I have always had the feeling of worry. I could never shake the feeling no matter how much I tried. It wasn’t until I was 21 when I got diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and excoriation disorder. Now at the age of 26 I am still trying to understand these disorders and how I can manage them in my everyday life. The reason I want to start this blog is to share my personal experiences of dealing with my disorders. By sharing my experiences, I hope I can help others who may be going through the same feelings and experiences that I am. If I can help even just one person I know I’ll be making a difference. I am not a professional by any means. What I share is based off of my personal experiences. What works for me may not work for you.
